  AIR TOOL OIL

Air Tool Oil is formulated with high quality paraffin base oils and a premium additive system to provide superior performance in air powered equipment. It is designed to give maximum protection from component wear in severe service conditions.

Features and Benefits

Air Tool Oil provides a highly tenacious film of lubrication on cylinder walls and other lubricated components. It has good metal wetting characteristics, insuring that the lubricant reaches critical parts rapidly. For equipment maintenance, parts and passages should be washed with solvent, kerosene or diesel fuel, and then coated with this product.

Applications

Air Tool Oil meets the requirements of manufacturers such as Gardner-Denver, Ingresoll Rand, Chicago Pneumatic, and Worthington. It is ideal for use in jack hammers, paving breakers, hoe rams, sanders, chipping tools, air drills, air saws, air hoists, and other air powered tools.

  Compressor Oils

  Mineral Spirits

We handle three grades that, together, satisfy the broad range of applications for Mineral Spirits , Stoddard Solvent and Solvent Rule 66. Varouh Oil's Solvent is refined to low odor levels. Evaporation is clean without any long-lasting residual odors, and odor stability is excellent throughout the normal shelf lives of the solvents. The low odor of Varouh Oil's solvents is obtained without sacrificing solvent power or other valuable properties.   Citrus Solvent
d-Limonene is the major component of the oil extracted from citrus rind. When citrus fruits are juiced, the oil is pressed out of the rind. This oil is separated from the juice, and distilled to recover certain flavor and fragrance compounds. The bulk of the oil is left behind and collected. This is food grade d-limonene. After the juicing process, the peels are conveyed to a steam extractor. This extracts more of the oil from the peel. When the steam is condensed, a layer of oil floats on the surface of the condensed water. This is technical grade d-limonene.

In the past decade, the use of d-limonene has expanded tremendously. Much of the product goes into making paint solids, used to impart an orange fragrance to products, and used as a secondary cooling fluid. But the largest growth segment has been the use of d-limonene in cleaning products. This has occurred in both industrial uses and in household/institutional products. d-Limonene can be used either as a straight solvent, or as a water dilutable product.

As a straight solvent, d-limonene can replace a wide variety of products, including mineral spirits, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, toluene, glycol ethers, and of course fluorinated and chlorinated organic solvents. As with most organic solvents, d-limonene is not water soluble, so it can be used in the typical water separation units. With a KB value of 67, d-limonene has solubility properties close to that of CFCs, indicating that it is a much better solvent than a typical mineral spirit. Straight d-limonene can be used as a wipe cleaner, in a dip bath, or in spray systems as a direct substitute for most other organic solvents.

By combining d-limonene with a surfactant package, a water dilutable and rinsible solution can be made. In most cases these products are used in the institutional and household settings in place of caustic and other water based cleaners. A concentrated solution of a d-limonene/surfactant solution can be made to be diluted before use, or pre-diluted solutions can be formed. The use concentrations of d-limonene in these situations are usually 5-15%. In general these solutions are used as spray and wipe cleaners. The water dilutable solutions can also be used in industrial settings where a water rinse of the parts is desired to remove any residue which may remain.

d-Limonene is a very versatile chemical which can be used in a wide variety of applications. It is extremely safe and more effective than typical cleaning solutions.

  Quenching Oil

Benefits

Features

Quenching Oil 70 is a premium quality quenching oil. It is designed to provide controlled cooling of steel which is important in steel hardening. When quenching is started, Quenching Oil 70 provides a high initial cooling rate inducing maximum hardness, yet once the critical transformation temperature is passed, the ideal fluid cooling rate decreases to eliminate the possibility of stresses and metal distortion.

Applications

Quenching Oil 70 is recommended for use when deep and uniform hardening is required in steels having small grain size or wide variation in grain size in steels with lean alloy content in parts having variable sections or odd shapes in steels having variable hardenability

This highly stable oil resists the oxidizing effects of quenching and is less sensitive to the effects of agitation. It is highly heat resistant. No additive replacement is required and, in normal service, the product retains the original viscosity indefinitely.

Because of its ability to adhere to smooth or shiny surfaces, Quenching Oil 70 is also recommended for use when parts must retain a bright finish.

  Fire Resistant Fluid

FR WG 200-D ( Fire Resistant Water-Glycol 200-D hydraulic fluid )

Description

A premium water glycol fire resistant hydraulic fluid which has superior lubricating properties and meets all requirements for a less hazardous fire resistant hydraulic fluid. This fluid contains a proper additive balance to impart the necessary lubricity, corrosion protection and overall performance demanded by today's high performance hydraulic systems.
